Return to office

Return to Office reframes the mandate as performance: fluorescent lighting, spreadsheet devotion, and nostalgia for control. Pinstripes and pressed trousers read as uniform rather than expression; power dressing becomes armor, while body language quietly resists. Against ledger-lined screens and rotary phones, a shark perched atop a monitor and candy-colored desk clutter sharpen the satire. This is not a triumphant return, but office as theater — where presence is mistaken for productivity, and style survives the mandate, but only just.

In its second chapter, the narrative shifts after hours. The same figures emerge in refined evening dress — precise tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and restrained elegance standing in sharp contrast to the dull choreography of daytime office life. Corporate restraint gives way to quiet sensuality and self-possession, revealing nightlife not as spectacle, but as the only space where individuality can fully surface
